Execution

We created HAPPY PARTY - globalhappyparty.com - where everyone’s invited to come together to celebrate happiness. Simply take 4 pictures using your device’s camera, they’re transformed instantly into a dancing GIF, and you join thousands of people around the world dancing in unison to Pharrell’s Happy. Once you’re in, share to invite your friends to the party.

Explore HAPPY PARTY on the homepage stream, or explore the Google Map to view GIFs from around the world.

Everyone who joins is also prompted to sign the Live Earth petition: further establishing their support of the importance of a happy planet.

Outcome

On the day itself (20th March):

- More than 800,000 people came to the party, and 45,000 posted dancing GIFS, from 162 different countries.
