Background

Coke AI Studio revolutionized music creation by leveraging artificial intelligence technology. The creative idea behind it is to empower music enthusiasts to fulfill their dream of being in a band without the traditional barriers to entry.

Idea

The brief was to create an engaging campaign that resonates with music fans while showcasing Coca-Cola's commitment to innovation. The challenge was to provide a unique and accessible experience for consumers to participate in music creation. The objective was to establish Coca-Cola as a leader in utilizing AI for creative endeavors. The target audience comprised music festival attendees and young adults interested in music and technology.

The creative solution involved the development of a mobile AI-powered studio that traveled to major music festivals across the country. Participants answered fun questions, which were then processed by AI engines like ChatGPT and Loudly to generate band names and produce debut singles. The use of Stable Diffusion technology enabled the creation of personalized album artwork and music videos, all within minutes. This approach eliminated the need for auditions, practice sessions, or road gigs, making the experience accessible and inclusive.

Strategy

The campaign utilizes a mobile AI-powered studio that travels to major festivals, allowing participants to create music seamlessly.The target audience is music festival attendees, primarily young adults interested in music and technology.

Execution

It all started with fans answering a few fun questions and turning their answers into fun prompts. We fed those prompts into chatGPT to create their band name and into Loudly to create their first music single. Then the studio fed everything into Stable Diffusion to create their album art which got fed into a video game engine to transform our studio into the location of their band’s very first music video—all fully automated, in a matter of minutes.

These engines were trained with owned art, licensed music, and oversight to ensure that fans created original band names, original art, and original music to not only create a new AI methodology for Coca Cola North America, but also a way to safeguard artwork and music everywhere all white letting music fans become their own bands.

We empowered music fans to transcend mere spectatorship, fostering their journey towards becoming their own bands. Through the fusion of AI ingenuity and creative expression, Coke AI Studio delivers an unparalleled musical adventure, redefining the landscape of music creation for generations to come. The campaign drives brand engagement and loyalty, enhancing Coca-Cola's market position in the beverage industry, we generated significant buzz and media coverage, amplifying Coke's visibility and reach.
