Description
This films spans the epic history of the Chuck Taylor (and Converse) for the past 100 years. By linking the shared spirit of rebellion and creativity of all those who've touched the brand - we wove a visual narrative of basketball, music, skate, dance and culture into a grand celebration of what makes this great brand iconic.No archival footage was used in this film. Each scene was carefully crafted as a period piece with great attention to detail. Only cameras available at that moment in history were used for each scene - giving the cinematography a rich, textured, gritty and authentic feel.
Execution
The Ask-Er-Out-Er intro video invited the promgoers from Converse's 40m Facebook fans to submit 3 things they liked about their potential date.
Outcome
The campaign had over 45.8m impressions and over 70k 'likes'. It increased Converse’s Facebook audience by 24.3% and Twitter audience by 31.9%.
