Description
The launch of the All-New 2014 Corvette Stingray mandated an idea as new and different as the car itself: The “World’s First Reverse Test Drive,” where you don’t test the Stingray, the Stingray tests you. Partnering with leading biometric and brain wave experts, we created the first test drive where five individuals — each with varied backgrounds and driving skills — tested the car on a closed racetrack, while the car tested them. Each experience was documented on video and paired with biometric, brain wave and car telemetric data. Put to the test: Evan Orensten, co-founder of coolhunting.com; Phillip Cooley, Entrepreneur/Restaurateur; Kelly Olexa, CEO, Fitfluential; Kazunori Yamauchi, Producer, Gran Turismo; and Terry McFly, Lifestyle Blogger/Journalist. The results showcase the transformative effect of the Stingray and are featured on vimeo.com/corvette. Visitors to the site can also test their own skills with the Precision Challenge Test, an interactive video experience that allows viewers to use their keyboards to test reaction times, recall and spatial recognition.
Execution
Five influencers took the precision test drive on a track, measuring brain patterns, adrenaline reactions, and, frankly, their ability to maneuver their machine through the track. In addition to the five influencer videos, an interactive game was created to test users' precision skills.

Outcome
The experience delivered over 8MM video place driving a 42% completion rate. The average time spend on vimeo.com/corvette = 2:42, almost double the Vimeo channel average. The perception of the Corvette changed from a midlife crisis to a precision machine.
