Description
For the first sustainable bank in The Netherlands we created a world which is a combination of a live action miniature forest combined with 3D CGI animals. This first film features The Creature of Habit and The Money Badger. The conclusion is simple: sometimes you need to change your habits to keep the world as it is. Switch to a sustainable bank, that way money can create happiness.
Execution
We chose animated fables as an approachable way to explain how money can do good, and made up different mythical animals to explain how sustainable banking works. This led to a close collaboration between the creatives from the agency and by the designers and animators from the production company. In total, a team of 41 creatives, designers and animators worked on this project.
Since this client’s core business is sustainability, a lot of energy was spent on making sure the characters and the forest have an organic feel to it. This resulted in a mix of live action footage combined with 3D CGI animals.
Outcome
When asked in post research people gave the film a 9 on a scale of 10. In the first month since the introduction we already acquired 5% more new clients, while the spontaneous brand awareness rose from 11 to 19%. And the consideration grew equally fast.
