The Bidding runs via a Facebook app. The Bidding process starts and all the bidders can make their bids by just pushing the “Bid it” button. When the value of the smartphone reaches the amount of 5€, a 48-hour countdown begins! The user that makes the last valid bid is the big winner and they wins the smartphone!
Outcome
The app was a huge success! The average time of a visit was above 10 minutes and the concurrent bids in the last second of the Bidding process was 5,000! During the Bidding contest period (4 weeks) the VodafoneCu facebook page fan base increased by 8,000 fans
