We first got ‘delicious’ magazine to develop a booklet for Danish ‘The World’s Best Ever Brunch’- 8 pages with 6 recipes and tipped this onto a page in the magazineDanish Bacon struck a deal with Sainsbury’s – the UK’s second largest supermarket - to ‘tip’ the booklet onto 1,000,000 packs of Danish Bacon..
This booklet- label promoted the recipe book as free from ‘delicious’ magazine and a subscription offer to the title.
Outcome
For Danish: 650,000 more households bought Danish in Sainsbury’s year on year helping to achieve a 34% sales increase.
For delicious: 150 additional subscriptions can be sourced directly to the ‘booklet-label’. Delicious also reached 100,000 circulation for the first time with a strong sales result in Sainsbury’s .
