Description

Whether you like it or not, bottled mineral water becomes a part of the interior. But most bottles’ design in Japan lack that idea. Their design are noisy and unsophisticated.

This cannot be helped, because bottles have the role as advertisement. They have to stand out in the store for the shoppers to choose them.

The solution was to create a mineral water with no advertisement on the bottle, and harmonizes with the interior.

The water was sold exclusively on amazon. By appealing the bottle’s design, we were able to acquire new customers.

Execution

Bottles were designed to express the quality of the water. The design made mineral water a cool item to display in the room.

The six bottles were designed to express the process in which mineral water is born from the nature. By selling them in a set of six bottles, we tried to tell that process and the quality by the design.

Same concept was applied for the carton design as well. Since the carton have an attractive design, no one needed to hide it anymore.

Outcome

This mineral water was taken up and shared by many medias and SNS. It has been the TOP 10 selling product on amazon since been on sale.

A product with no advertisement, in fact was what consumers were desiring.
