OVERVIEW

Description

Design that tells a story and brings ideas to life and explodes them onto the screen in front of you. As you enter the site, wires and cables appear, stretch and grow downward. As they do, they burst and bloom into a virtual garden of the future. LED screens, keyboards and much more pop up in a beautiful swirl of technology. As you scroll down this ever-growing garden small icons appear to pop up with new information which take you to new sections of the site. An engaging and perfect site design for a company that is growing and ever changing.

Execution

The idea was simple: The Future Garden; a metaphor that addresses current marketplace challenges and resonates across all channels of communication. It is a place of growth and vibrancy, where ideas bloom and co-created solutions flourish. It is fertile ground for the Consumerscape; our new world where consumers are as much a part of creating brands as the brands themselves.

Outcome

The site immediately attracted worldwide attention. Ten hours after launching it won the FWA Site of the Day award. Site traffic increased 365%; from 700 weekly visitors to over 2800. iPods delivered to employees the day of the launch drove the message home, and is being continued with an ongoing green emphasis through digital delivery of in-house communications.
