OVERVIEW

Description

South Africans are sick of being taken advantage of. Whether it’s the price of petrol, food or clothing, or maybe increased road-tolls and power outages – it always feels like we’re being screwed. Except maybe for one cellular network – Cell C –who were recently shown to offer the best value in the market.

This ad follows a man who gets screwed wherever he goes. At the point where he’s about to get screwed, be it a petrol station or at a till point, a shaggy mutt runs out and humps his leg – metaphorically conveying how South Africans are being screwed. This continues throughout the man’s day, up until the moment where he walks into a Cell C store. At this point, the mutt is deterred and runs off in the opposite direction to hump its next unsuspecting victim. Hence demonstrating how you won’t get screwed at Cell C
