Description
Dog Walker Fit Program is a mobile app. As an app, the digital platform used in this idea is online and it is possible to use it integrated with Facebook at the moment of registration. Walkers can choose dogs by location using the geolocation-integrated system. And dog owners could track their dog’s activities. Every experience is unique and personalized.
Execution
Dog Walker Fit Program is a mobile idea in its essence. As an app experience, the Program was implemented first at Sao Paulo, with Weight Watchers of the city. The digital platform uses data of Weight Watchers Sao Paulo and pet data registered by dog owners. Before the first walking session, the participants of Weight Watchers complete a basic class of Dog Walking and receive a password to access the app. So, they choose available dogs to walk by geolocation. At the end, walkers receive activities reports and future missions, and the dog owners receives records of the their dogs.
Outcome
The idea improves the way people see Purina’s brand. We pushed forward the brand connection with people and Purina’s passion: pets. It means: 85% in Purina’s brand awareness. In other hand we provided a healthy and interactive alternative for those who want to get in shape. To lose weight by dog walking is now a new perspective for Weight Watchers participants. Weigh Watchers in 11 Brazilian states signed up for the program. And 78% of Weigh Watchers Brazilian members were reached by the action by weekly meetings, email. Two global brands joined together to put dogs and people together.
The success of this mobile app and experience is measured by the gain of awareness of Purina, the new changing-life perspective for those of Weight Watchers and for making the difference in the life of dog owners and the pets.
