Description

We open underwater. A young man falls in and we see him suffer from cold water shock. His breathing increases uncontrollably and he takes water into his lungs. And drowns. A factual voiceover explains that even on a sunny day, the seas, canals and rivers can be dangerous, especially after a couple of drinks. And if you fall in you’ll suffer from cold water shock. The camera then pans out and we see that he’s actually drowned in a glass of beer. Because the average temperature of UK water is a cold 11 degrees, the same temperature as a pint of beer.
