Live your Dreams.
The average Nigerian has dreams and is aspirational in nature
We are always looking for and trying to identify and connect with individuals who in spite of the average background have done well for themselves.
Using the power of music laced with inspirational words we sell the message that you can pursue and live your dream whoever you are.
Execution
To sell the DStv Compact Bouquet, a theme song titled Live your dream was produced.
After the song was produced, a microsite was designed where people could download the song. To further drive traffic to the site, there was an opportunity for people to upload their pictures and a random quote appears to further inspire them.
A #Liveyourdream was created and used to drive the song online.
We also created awareness about the campaign song by advertising on Nigeria's popular music and entertainment blogs
Outcome
The song enjoyed massive airplay on Nigeria's radio stations.
The song was downloaded over 14 thousand times in the space of 2 months
The Microsite had 4673 visitors in the first week of the campaign
Impact on talent.
The song went on to enjoy massive airplay across radio stations in nigera. the name Simi became a household name and received endorsements from many organisations including one of Nigeria's biggest Telco- Etisalat .
Her ratings jumped up astronomically (SHOW GRAPH)
From 1 show in a space of 6 months, she went on to enjoy as much as 4 shows every month.
It was also against the backdrop of this success that we she went on to launch her album Simisola” which has debuted at number 5 on the Billboard World Albums chart.
