With his bag filled with gifts, Santa jumps in a chimney in the crispy Christmas night. Right behind Bunny also runs and jumps, carrying a bag.

Santa places a gift under the Christmas tree, before disappearing. Bunny suddenly arrives and picks up the gift. Inside is a high-drain toy. Bunny picks up a pack of Duracell batteries on his bag, inserts it into the toy and switches it on. A little boy wakes up, because of noises, and gets out of bed.

Bunny places the gift under the tree and leaves the room. The boy runs quietly down the stairs and looks into the room, which is empty. He picks up the gift, finds the toy inside it, and turns the switch on. The toy lights up and makes noises. He starts playing with his new favorite toy. Which, thanks to Duracell, will bring him joy that lasts all Christmas.

We found out from talking to parents around the world that they sometimes forget to buy batteries for their children’s much anticipated Christmas toys. The result is that children cannot play with their presents on Christmas morning, and this often results in tears and tantrums. Duracell wanted to remind parents to buy plenty of batteries at Christmas to avoid this.

This is a 2 minute animated Christmas online film for Duracell. The film story shows the Duracell Bunny following Father Christmas as he delivers Christmas presents to children all around the world. Unbeknownst to Santa, Bunny is following him down the chimney and opening the Christmas presents under the tree. At first we are unsure why Bunny is doing this, but then his motives become clear – he is putting Duracell batteries into battery operated toys to ensure that the children have the best experience of their toys when they open them. At one point his cunning plan looks as if it going to go wrong, when the little girl of the household wakes up. Bunny has to quickly complete his mission before he is seen. The last frames are bunny descending into the chimneys after Father Christmas has visited.
