OVERVIEW

Execution

We created a flying store that flies to customers. The e-mart truck shaped balloon, equipped with a Wi-Fi router, that can fly to every corner of Seoul. Customers connected to the Wi-Fi signal using their mobile phones and downloaded coupons. They bought products immediately using the mobile app of E-Mart.

Outcome

Two insights were found with Koreans. One is that they are always busy. The other is most of them uses smartphones.

That's why we combined a floating balloon with wi-fi router. People don't need to visit the stores and can shop using smartphones since the flying store flies to them. Nearby 120,000 people exposed to the flying stores, about 45,000 joined the event. Especially, E-mart's mobile sales increased dramatically to 157% and E-mart's mobile app was downloaded more than 50 thounsands times.
