Description
We created our own awards show: The Endy Awards, a parody of the Oscars, except that the only way to win is to die a truly stupid death.
Execution
First, we released the 4 nominee videos on social media. The films were absurd, over the top and fun. After 3 days, we announced the awards ceremony and streamed it on Facebook live. To the surprise of the viewers, the message in the end was not that dumb: there is no such thing as a dumb death, because everybody is an organ donor and can save lives by dying.
Outcome
The Endy awards had more than 4 million views within the target audience.
