Description
The film tells the story of a young girl taken on an incredible journey by following the loose thread on her t-shirt. On this epic adventure the girl discovers the ethical origins of her clothes
Execution
There once was a girl attached to some thread,
She was gonna snip it off but followed it instead.
It would show the girl how her t-shirt was made,
The most epic of quests for the bravest of brave.
She climbed, she crept, she pulled and she tugged,
And that’s when this little wanderer found Tony the pug.
They were friends in a flash and as you may have guessed,
Finding the threads end soon became their quest.
First they met the people who designed the girl’s tee,
Then they dived in a boat and sailed across the sea.
From battling the ocean, to a place full of dreams,
The most colourful threads the girl had ever seen.
She high-fived the foreman, but the man had a frown
“There’s no kids allowed here you’ll get me shut down.”
They ran out quickly, but then fell from a height,
Tony couldn’t cling on and was washed out of sight.
In anger the girl booted a rock at a log,
But instead of the target, she hit a stray dog.
The beast ran over and began to attack,
But would you believe it, Tony was back!
The dog ran off, our pug saved the day,
And now the threads end was a short trip away.
They reached a cotton farm and much to their delight,
There were no nasty chemicals, just organic clouds of white.
The start of the thread, brought an end to their quest.
An adventure to remember every time she gets dressed.
What’s good for the people, the world, and her skin.
Feeds the rebel in all of us, The Fableist within.
