The film describes what a child sees and perceives during the first days of life: a world made of colours and undefined shapes, a set of abstract and scattered images.

Both the speaker and the images help us entering into a magical and dreamlike world.

But the end of the film brings us back to reality, rather to a specific reality: the one of many children who are abandoned every year in Italy.
