Description
Everyone's a critic when it comes to cinema, as is shown in this execution. While discussing the merits of a particular film, two astronauts discover that space can be a very awkward place indeed.
Execution
Chinese nationals hacked into the Melbourne International Film Festival’swebsite. To take advantage of the controversy we hijacked our own postersby placing seemingly slanderous Chinese slogans over the top. The actualtranslation of these slogans was the festival’s tagline ‘Everyone’s aCritic’.
We then erected a giant ‘Everyone’s a Critic’ tomato splattered billboard inChinatown. Tomatoes with ‘everyone’s a critic’ stickers were also placed innearby markets and a stunt was performed where people could hurl thesetomatoes at a billboard.
