OVERVIEW

Description

The purpose of the FootJoy Gold Gods site is to provide information, support and elaboration for the 2002 FootJoy Golf Gods TV and print campaign. It was developed both ad advance PR for the golf trade and media (who were directed there before the launch of the campaign by a targeted email burst) and as on-going entertainment for all consumers.When you reach www.footjoy.com/golfgods (either directly via navigation from the main EFsite, or a dedicated pop-up on the FJ homepage) you first reach a splash page where you are greeted by 'The Commissioner'. You then click to the Golf Gods 'home page' which set up the background 'premise' of the Golf Gods. On one side, you are offered QuickTime's of the 4TV commercials. Above you find 16 mini-portraits of the Golf Gods and their protagonists. Mousing over each portrait brings it into colour and IDs the character. Clicking the icon brings up a new page with an action shot of the Golf God and a baseball card style description of his 'powers'. A further click downloads a printable Acrobat PDF poster showing yet another image of the character.
