A man is driving down a country lane when he sees something struggling in a nearby lake. He dives in and rescues a one-eyed furry little monster. He adopts the creature, caring for it, taking it to the cinema, training it to use the toilet etc, until one day the unfortunate monster accidentally bumps into and breaks the man's rear-view mirror on his Toyota Yaris. This is too much to bear, the man drives his friend back to the lake where he found him and throws him back in: It's a Yaris thing.
