The Mission to the Moon is Audi’s very own moon mission: Together with a group of scientists, we developed the Audi lunar quattro. An unmanned rover which is set to complete the ultimate quattro test drive on the moon in early 2018.

From a technical viewpoint, the aim of the mission is clear. But how can we make this relevant to the general public?

The film brings together highly relevant topics and enables the general public to experience them. Thanks to the use of particle simulation, 3D tracking and holographic augmentation, the world of aerospace becomes tangible. And thus the worldwide fan community for the mission is able to grow further. The film was launched at the international press conference in Audi City Berlin and has been shown worldwide since then.
