3D QTVRs of automobiles are expected these days on commercial automotive Web sites. We wanted to take them a step further and figured out a way to use the multi-camera fly around technique made popular in commercials and movies like "The Matrix." Using two Nikons with motor drives at either end to capture motion in and out of the frame, and thirty six purpose built cameras linked with an ethernet in between, we were able to craft the first frozen action fly-around to use Quicktime technology for a Web application. Fun stuff.
