"Game of Zones" is a creative animated spoof that blends HBO's hit show "Game of Thrones" and the NBA, the major men's professional basketball league in North America.

Featuring deep-cut basketball references, former teammates and rivals and actual playoff scenarios, Game of Zones takes the viewer to an alternate Game of Thrones inspired universe where the stakes are higher, the storylines more dramatic, and the accents British!

Each short film reimagines the NBA into a literal fantasy sports experience by synchronizing the fast-paced storylines of the NBA to the darkness of a mediaeval fantasy drama – providing the ultimate fan experience.

This episode, “The Purple Retirement," centers around the retirement of Kobe “The Mamba” Bryant. Kobe, one of the most famous and iconic NBA stars of all time, is sent off by various players (houses) and with each interaction another clever NBA reference is brought to the spotlight.
