Background
OBI, one of Germany’s biggest DIY store chains, is supposed to be the first choice for do-it-yourselfers. Not just because OBI knows the needs of real do-it-yourselfers. But simply because OBI is always nearby. How can we make people made aware of this fact in a quick and simple way that caught their attention?
Description
Façade artists converted gaps respectively cracks in walls into designs that showed the fastest way from the actual location to the nearest OBI center. Gaps became route maps. Thus, OBI was present at every spot in Munich’s cityscape where a trip to the DIY store was urgently required.
