Description

When sending our New Year wishes for 2013, we focused on the name change the agency underwent at the end of 2012. Then, we took advantage of the fact that Paris is now part of the agency’s name to revisit the city by creating logos for various districts.

We’ve created a walk that shows off both the poetic and modern sides to the city.

Execution

To celebrate the agency’s new name, Havas Paris, and the fact that our name now includes 'Paris', we wanted to pay tribute to our beautiful city by creating our own view of its different districts. We designed a distinctive logo to represent each district. Oddly, this is something that had never been done before. We wanted to reach beyond the world of advertising and make a video that every Parisian or lover of Paris could appreciate and relate to. And it had the desired effect.

Outcome

Within six days, the video got 80,000 views, 14,000 likes, 7,000 shares, 1,400 tweets, 3,600 comments and was mentioned on 80 different blogs. Significantly, it was promoted by the official Facebook page for the city of Paris. Its reach extended beyond the world of advertising – it was shared by many people who simply love Paris.
