Description
To target only those people who would actually care for painkiller at that very moment we developed Headache Targeting for Nurofen. It’s precise instrument that identifies people with headaches in real time and targets Nurofen Express banners for quick pain relief.
Execution
Headache Targeting algorithm identifies potential headache victims and shows them painkiller banners when they are most vulnerable to headache.
To show banner in the exact moment when headache starts, the banner rotation is synchronized with the up-to-the-minute weather changes. For this purpose we created a script that analyses 7 weather related triggers.
With the help of Google API the script automatically manages ad campaigns in Google AdWords. No human involvement is needed.
Outcome
Banner CTR rose up to 570% compared to traditional retargeting banners in Google Display Network.
During the campaign sales grew by 9% compared to the same period last year.
