Description
We didn't just launch a global campaign for Holiday Inn this year, we also launched a music label.
Execution
Our TV commercials featured a ridiculously catchy song by a young artist named Kyle Andrews. Kyle had no label, so we decided to fill the void. STAY U MUSIC was launched as a joint venture between the agency and Holiday Inn. We took on every facet of promotional duties for his "You Always Make Me Smile" single. We got fans involved in creating the artwork, and broke a Guinness World Record while shooting a video.
Outcome
In the process we sold some music, made some money, and got a bunch of attention that halo'ed back onto the Holiday Inn brand. HI was ultimately named a "Brand to Watch" by billboard magazine. Clive Davis, watch your back!
