Description
We were asked to advertise Holiday Tour’s current holiday specials in a cheap but effective way.
Execution
Instead of the usual email advertisements sent out each week we built travel offers into “Out of Office AutoReplies.” These were then sent out to an existing database from fictional characters enjoying their affordable holidays. Each email contained a hyperlink to the mentioned special and a contact number for bookings.
Outcome
This Trojan horse approach was not only highly cost effective but unlike most email advertisements, it was actually read by the consumers, which nowadays is a feat in itself.The client received many responses with a few leading to sales.
