To avoid being just another player in the “speed” wars that dominate Internet advertising, Qwest changed the game by encouraging customers to expect more from their Internet. Spots in this campaign illustrate the problems one can face without Qwest high-speed Internet and it’s exclusive benefits, like automatic on-line backup of important photos and files. By branding a better kind of fast, Qwest set themselves apart from competitors.
