Description

SulAmerica is one of the most renowned insurance companies in the country, with a wide range of products, including home insurance.Our goal was to get clients of SulAmerica Home Insurance to renew their soon-to-be-expired contracts.

Target: 150 clients of SulAmérica Home Insurance, owners of “A Class” homes, with annual premiums above US$5,000.

Execution

Our answer took advantage of the recent theft of a famous masterpiece from Museu de Arte de São Paulo on December 20, 2007(Note: the painting was recovered before the action was initiated).

The painting: Portrait of Suzanne Bloch by Pablo Picasso. We mailed a framed replica of the painting in a box marked “At your home it will be safer.” Enclosed with the painting was a letter from SulAmerica, thanking clients for their enduring relationship and trust.

Outcome

SulAmerica retained 78% of their client base, a 46% increase compared to the same group last year.
