Eating out of a garbage can seems like a disgusting idea. For many people it is reality. To visualise this, we added place mats and real cutlery to the garbage cans. Together they communicate our message quite clearly.
Outcome
The Garbage Meal has gained high awareness from Customers and local Press. The result was a significant increase in the number of contacts at the information counter and enquiries from potential sponsors. At the very least, we did not find any wasted food in the garbage cans during the promotion.
