Execution

1. Phase one (April 14- April 26, 2022): A cooperation with KKday for limited bookings of Hotel California was released, and it became a trending topic by that time. "KKDAY" is a well-known online hotel booking platform in Taiwan.

2. Phase two (June 1- June 30, 2022): Ordinary folks were invited to the overnight experience at Taipei Tianmu Baseball Stadium and Leofoo Village in Hsinchu. Meanwhile, artists in terms of Hao Zi, Hong-Chih Kuo, and Yung Lie Yen were invited together to the overnight experience for the reality show.

3. Phase three (July 12- August 9, 2022): The reality show was released online and successively broadcasting via the official social channel of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, the online TV show “Now You On”, and Yahoo Online. Hotel California effectively broke the restriction of the echo chamber and attract the attentions from the non-camping audiences.

Outcome

1. Active registration by the netizens: There were more than 1,000 person-time booking on KKday less than two weeks. A number of netizens made creative posts to win the limited opportunities.

2. Regular programs wanted by fans: The time of media exposure reached 23, 273, 090 and the time of total view achieved 13, 958, 904 for the two produced episodes.
