OVERVIEW

Description

The film dramatized the idea that Canadians are forged by our land, and our harsh, wintry climate has created in us an inner resilience and mental fortitude. And that this doesn’t just hold true in winter itself, but our tenacity and resolve carries with us in whatever season or situation we find ourselves in. While a steely narrator speaks underneath, the film shows scenes of Canada’s best summer athletes (tennis star Milos Raonic, diver Jennifer Abel, etc.) stoically training in their summer outfits out in the brutal and severe winter conditions of Canada’s landscape.
