Indulona is a Czech brand of hand cream with a long history. Most Czech women grew up with it, however, many of them were switching to more aspirational foreign products.
The product was re-launched as “Indulona Hand Care” in a new package with a new formula.Our main competitors produce all kinds of products, from body lotions to shampoo, so we wanted to position Indulona as a real “hand care expert”.Compared to foreign competitors, our budget was very limited. We had to choose the most effective ways to touch the hearts of Czech women.
Execution
There’s no better way to communicate hand care than through the sense of touch.
So, we have focused on objects women come into contact with at or near the point of purchase and covered them with a sensually smooth soft material.
Outcome
Retail chains and shop owners that are usually very reluctant to place any point of sale material were calling to make sure they don’t miss out. Consumers have also fallen in love with the beautiful soft handles. Quite a few of them were stolen.
