OVERVIEW

Execution

Data security involves a number of elements like password, attachments to e-mails, unknown USB-plugs, and the fact that you should never leave your computer unlocked when, for example, you are going for lunch two floors down. With our creative solution we wanted to spread the message in other ways than with ordinary posters. One challenge was that the office building is full of long corridors, and we still wanted to affect the employees everywhere in the building. The solution in the corridors was carefully folded posters in a way that shows different messages depended on which way you are walking.

Outcome

The data security campaign was a huge success and got a lot of attention among the employees in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The campaign also got attention in the news – including an article in Aftenposten (one of the largest newspapers in Norway) where Mr. Jonas Gahr Støre, Minister of Foreign Affairs, posed with the "Killroy figure" on the top of his computer.
