Description

The recent rise of branded content was driven by the emergence of the millennial demographic. The values held by millennials–uniqueness, authenticity, accessibility– have permeated brand spaces and drives the thinking behind every current campaign in the industry.

The market is inundated with brands vying for the consumer's attention. The true mark of success is being able to cut through the noise and impact the consumer.

Execution

The “Come Alive” spot’s reach continued to grow beyond the initial Super Bowl Pre-game airing, also running against tent-pole cultural event shows like the Grammys and the NBA All-Star Weekend televised games. It continues to run on broadcast TV with over 3444 airings to date.

Casablanca Records/Republic, our label partner, assisted in upstreaming the record. A-Trak also continued to work the track and engage the growing audience with a live performance of “Out The Speakers” at the GREEN LABEL live SXSW event.

“Come Alive” was simultaneously released on YouTube at the time of the initial airing on the Super Bowl Pre-game and went viral, with 7.8MM views to date and counting.

Outcome

Our upstreaming of the “Out The Speakers” success markers:

• 1.8 MM U.S. Streams in the first week of launching “Come Alive” commercial.

o 97% of which came from YouTube clicks on the spot

• Song debuted in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Dance charts

• The spot and track successfully connected with consumers on a genuine level, making “Come Alive” the #1 Shazam(ed) commercial in the U.S.

• Outselling the original release of the record by an increase of 594.03%

• With 7.8MM YouTube views to date, the spot continues to engage with the consumer

• Highly reported on and acclaimed by industry trade magazines as well as mainstream media, generating nearly 300 million earned media impressions
