Description
In July 2015, during 3 weeks, we asked 2 journalists to drive around France in a Renault ZOE, so they can go out and meet the electric community. The car's maximum range is of 240 KM on a single charge, so our two ambassadors had to plan out a journey through the homes of France's "electric pioneers", allowing them to properly recharge their ZOE across the country so they could complete their tour of France. Encounters, anecdotes, laughs, things that went wrong… using a camera, they put together a portrait of this incredible community which they shared with Renault's followers. In the end, all of the content which was generated was centralised and rebranded as Le Peuple Electrique
Execution
In July 2015, our two journalists drove around France during 3 weeks to meet the electric community. The Documentary was revealed in December 2015 on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter.
Outcome
- 600k views (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter)
- The documentary has also been on MyTF1.fr, which is a rare « social-to-tv move » for such a content! As a result, the documentary was also featured on local TV channels across France
- Le Peuple Electrique was also presented during the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP21) in Paris, in December 2015
- Dozen of articles with very positive ton
