Our film starts with footage of an unforgettable moment from one of Egypt’s National Team’s victories in the African Cup of Nations. This moment included Mohamed Zidan’s (an Egyptian player) iconic relentless fight for the ball that lead to the winning goal in that match. The narrator goes on to explain how this moment is carved in every Egyptian’s memory. The film then cut to the story of a fan whose sacrifice is totally forgotten on that day. That went to celebrate the win forgetting to notify his mother that he will be late. When he goes home, he takes a beating that fully resembles the player’s fight for the ball. However, he did not get upset as cheering for his team is always worth it. The film ends with a promise that this year we will remember the fans as much as we remember the winning team.
