Execution

1.Trained 93 people in conceptual development of social projects; 2.Developed the “Letter to the Veteran” project 3.Assembled Volunteer Team (28 Moscow college students of photography, copywriting, journalism, management and design), 4.Trained the volunteers.

5.Volunteers interviewed and photographed the war veterans.6.Designed, developed and published the “War Veterans of Moscow” album and launched the website www.otcliknis.ru. 7.Hold events “By Hand Means From The Heart” at popular youth hangouts. Participants are invited to look through the album and write letters to the war veterans.

8.Volunteers collect the letters and deliver them to the veterans.

Outcome

The project is sponsored by Moscow Government. 93 students learnt creating concepts for social projects. 28 students learnt obtaining an interview. 74 veterans were interviewed. The website was launched. Album was presented at the exhibition, visited by more than 5000 visitors. The book was presented at the Russian State University for the Humanities. (12000 students). 43 demands were received from new volunteers. The Museum of History of Moscow is planning to represent the project at an exhibition devoted to the 65th anniversary of the Victory. 317 have been sent. Events are planned to be held every month in public places of Moscow.
