Description

The strict communication restrictions for gambling in Germany don't allow any communication that is focused on concrete or exaggerated winnings. This is why the campaign has to talk about the attraction of gambling in a playful way, without saying it explicitly.

Execution

Pictures of the dull reality are put into the typical pattern of a lottery ticket. The fun starts when you experience 6 of the 49 fields giving a view into the future after winning the big lottery jackpot. The banner directly links to the official Westlotto 6x49 page, if you want to chance it.

Outcome

In North Rhine Westfalia the classic lottery '6aus49' grew by 9.8 % compared to last years results and was the biggest driver for Westlottos’s sales growth of 6.7 % in total.
