Louis Vuitton’s beginnings in 19th-century Paris are beautifully captured in this video which celebrates the founder of the world's most recognizable luxury label. Commissioned for the Louis Vuitton-Marc Jacobs exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, the artwork for the film is a combination of both archive and freshly-made illustrations – and is animated using Adobe After Effects and Autodesk Softimage.

The video is presented on a 20-foot-wide wall in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs (Le Louvre).
