Background
Maker's Mark, with its iconic red wax seal, is a handcrafted whisky made using time-honored methods. Each bottle is handmade with care, like a gift. We worked with Maker's Mark to run a special campaign in which participants could have the name of a precious someone printed on the bottle's label, to gift as a sign of gratitude.
Idea
For the communication content, we decided to use hand-drawn animation to match the handmade concept of Maker's Mark, featuring a heartwarming story set in the fictional Thanks Factory, a workshop that prints the personalized labels.

Execution
The animated video is the work of one animator, who spent 2 months drawing all of the frames.
Upon release, the video was quick to take off on social media, and the campaign enjoyed record-breaking success.
