The film begins with a series of comparisons. The fluid musculature and mechanical movements of dancer Lil Buck echoed by expressive angles of the Lexus LC. Man and Machine. We see both forms complete and reflect each other in a museum-like space flooded with light. Buck eventually slides into the front seat, and for the first time, Man and Machine are not just compared—they’re united. The film culminates with the LC speeding out of the stark space. We see it race through shafts of light. The final, thrilling sequence defies gravity and belief as Buck and the LC are truly one.
