Description

We’re yodeling down the house.Bavaria. The final frontier. These are the adventures of a nice little agency group which launched one state-of-the-art-multi-channel-action in early 2007 called:"The McDonald’s Hüttengaudi"."Hüttengaudi" is Bavarian-Austrian dialect and stands for all the fun you have when you enjoy your time in the Alps in a typical ski lodge. Good food, attractive people, high spirits and, of course, the yodeling!We put all these ingredients together and created a vertical 360° multimedia campaign for McDonald’s Germany. Now have a look at it and enjoy the McDonald’s Hüttengaudi.

Execution

The central idea uniting this unique alpine world in all its facets was the “McDonald’s Hüttengaudi Yodel Contest”.Starting off with a viral video available exclusively on the Web, the campaign unfolded on a massive scale, revealing the theme of the brand at the point of purchase, in continuing TV and radio commercials, diversified editorial radio-channels and website integration as well as various online advertising.All the integrated media channels connected the audience across all media involved and brought them together at the yodel-web-platform www.huettengaudi.de. The campaign came to a head with the extraordinary and hugely-entertaining final event – streamed live on the Internet.
