McDonald’s sells any sized drink for just a dollar, all summer long. People come in, get a cheap drink and then buy lots of food, so it’s an important promotion for them. Our job was to increase awareness of the promotion.We decided to do the ice block so we would increase awareness and sales at one high-traffic location, and then have a video of the event that could reach people across Canada.Please note that in Canada our dollars are coins and are what was used in the sculpture.
