Description
In Austria Branded Entertainment is a relatively new category but will surely play a bigger role in the future. It is a new exciting way to communicate with the customer and let them experience the brand. At the moment most Advertising in Austria is traditional one-way-communication and above-the-line marketing. In 2014 Branded Entertainment became a new category at the most importanly Austrian Advertising Awards, the CCA.
Execution
DriveThru pranks (customers pranking the employees of a DriveThru) have been a huge YouTube phenomenon for the past few years. Especially our young audience likes and shares those videos. For April Fool’s Day 2014 it was time to turn the tables.
