Together with a some IT-specialists we designed a banner that could read-out the history of web browsers. Then, we placed the 'Reaview-Banner' on big car-portals such as autobild.de, automotorsport.de and autoscout24.de. When users came to one of these car portals, they were surprised with a live-image of the website they had visited before, which was shown in a 'rear-view camera'-style on the display of our banner. This proved our message was perfect: 'See what's behind you. The Viano Ambiente with rear-view camera.'
Outcome
As a result of the campaign, the page impressions of the van section of mercedes-benz.de increased by 28%. Downloads of the Viano sales-brochure were increased by 42%.
