OVERVIEW

Execution

A MICROWAVE OVEN + A LCD SCREEN.

It may seem like an obvious solution, but nobody developed a device like this. Until now.

The development of this device was based on a regular microwave oven, and integrates a LCD screen from the current generation. It was created as a new invention not specifically for a brand, however, it had been used to solve a communication problem for one of our clients this way:

IDEA

We installed hidden cameras in one of the most crowded mini markets in Mexico City during rush hour, when people tend to buy more microwaveable fast food.

So when they heated it, a video began to play on the oven screen of a thief stealing a car of the same model as their own and on the same parking space.

The client, thinking he was being robbed, would go out and find that it was all a stunt and go back to the oven, to find this message: YOUR CAR CAN BE STOLEN IN LESS THAN 30”. GET INSURANCE. AMIS.

HOW IT WORKED

Our oven was remotely connected to a van that checked which car the client had, and sent a video of a car of the same model into the oven in the store.

Selected from a library of the top 10 most stolen cars we previously filmed in the location all shot in black and white so that the owner didn’t notice it wasn’t their car.

Outcome

This device has a lot of potential uses. What the brands imagine is the limit. Being a combination of display and traditional microwave technology, the range of applicable technologies is unlimited. We are in talks with microwave oven manufacturers and media agencies, making them know it is capable of being integrated with:

- Touchscreens

- Internet Connection

- Social Networks

- Cameras

- Video conference

- Broadcasting tech

- And basically anything a tablet can do
