Dramatise just how precious a resource water is by commissioning leading Australian jewellery designer, Sheridan Kennedy, to create 3 stunning pieces of jewelry around the idea of water - a hose necklace, shower head earrings and water sprinkler brooch. Feature each piece in a national print campaign, then have leading media personalities actually wear the pieces to create free publicity on mainstream tv. Finally auction each piece on ebay to raise funds.
Outcome
National exposure was gained from pieces being worn on high rating talk shows and news reports by celebrity presenters, as well as the jewelry appearing in national print. The promotion culminated in an online auction of the jewelry on eBay, with all proceeds donated to Australian Drought Relief.
